Solicitor – Property Litigation – Exeter – 3-4 Years PQE

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of property disputes including co-ownership, neighbour issues, boundary disputes, and adverse possession
• Handle lease and tenancy disputes, commercial rent recovery, and enforcement of charges
• Oversee possession claims, professional negligence files, and historic title rectification
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, trainees and paralegals
• Support high-volume tenancy management tasks (disrepair, ASB injunctions, leaseholder claims)
• Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers on complex matters
• Build and maintain client relationships, delivering practical, commercial advice
• Contribute to team development and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Key requirements

• 3-4 years PQE in property litigation
• Experience handling both residential and commercial contentious property matters
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Collaborative and empathetic leadership approach
• Confidence in managing a caseload independently
