Associate – Property Litigation – Exeter – 1-5 Years PQE

Overview

In this role, you will manage a diverse property litigation caseload within a forward-thinking firm. You will work closely with clients ranging from private individuals to developers, contributing to the growth of the Property Litigation team. This is a hands-on position with direct client contact, where your technical drafting and advisory skills drive successful outcomes. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters
• Advise private and corporate clients, landowners, developers and investors
• Handle disputes across development land, telecoms, contracts, and landlord/tenant issues
• Provide supervision and support while managing matters independently
• Engage with clients from an early stage
• Support the growth and long-term success of the Property Litigation team

Key requirements

• 1-5 years PQE in property litigation
• Experience in disputes involving development land (including telecoms), property contracts, and landlord/tenant matters (dilapidations, break notices, forfeiture, breach of covenant)
• Strong technical, analytical, and drafting skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Confidence in handling matters independently with guidance when needed
• Proactive, commercially aware, and client-focused mindset
