Business Analyst, Capital Markets – Glasgow

Overview

In this role you will support long-term strategic programmes for leading investment banks across Scotland. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to identify improvements, drive change, and promote Agile practices in fast-paced, regulated environments. You’ll contribute to impactful transformation projects while building deep Capital Markets expertise. This position offers collaboration with cross-functional teams and opportunities to shape digital transformations in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and gather requirements to inform functional specs and user stories
• Map and analyse business processes and customer journeys to identify optimisation opportunities
• Deliver change initiatives from business case to UAT planning and execution
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and third parties to drive successful outcomes
• Champion Agile methodologies and support continuous improvement across project lifecycles

Key requirements

• Proven Business Analyst experience in Financial Services, particularly Capital Markets
• Hands-on delivery across full project lifecycle including stakeholder engagement and testing
• Strong analytical skills with data interpretation and recommendation building
• Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with change methodologies and Agile delivery frameworks
