Commercial Gas Engineer – Buckinghamshire

Overview

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will service, fault-find and repair a range of commercial gas systems across hospitality, retail and light commercial environments. You operate mobile within a defined patch, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and occasional minor installations while upholding health and safety standards. You’ll keep accurate records with PDA and company systems and provide professional on-site service. This permanent role is with a growing FM provider, offering overtime, travel, and a company van. You’ll be central to delivering reliable maintenance and excellent customer service for a diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial gas systems (boilers, heaters, plant rooms, etc.)
• Fault-finding and diagnostics
• Occasional minor installation works
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards
• Keep accurate records using PDA and company systems
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the company professionally on-site
• Participate in the 1-in-4 call-out rota

Key requirements

• Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance and repair
• Valid commercial gas & Domestic qualifications (CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1A) – essential
• Additional LPG qualifications – advantageous
• F-Gas or AC experience – beneficial but not required
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently
• Full UK Driving Licence
