Commercial Gas Engineer

Overview

In this role you will service and maintain large-scale commercial heating and boiler systems, perform health checks, and handle breakdowns and installations across housing, commercial, and public sector sites in East London. You will join a team facilitated by Rubix M&E, contributing to high‑quality gas and heating services for diverse clients. The role emphasizes independent work, customer-focused delivery, and technical versatility across commercial heating tasks. Responsibilities

• Boiler servicing and gas servicing, health and compliance checks
• Diagnosing, breaking down and repairing gas/heating issues including emergency call-outs
• Carrying out full heating system installs in plant rooms
• Working across housing, commercial properties, and public sector projects

Key requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer
• Qualifications in Commercial Gas and Heating; ability to work independently
• Experience across most or all commercial heating skillsets (servicing, breakdowns, call outs, installs)
