Public Sector – Technology Consultant/Architect Kubernetes and Apps

Overview

In this role you will advance hybrid cloud delivery for public sector clients, shaping scalable data and app architectures. You’ll work onsite as part of a delivery team, translating complex requirements into enterprise-ready solutions while collaborating with data engineering experts. You’ll drive technical design, oversee multi-technology deployments, and contribute to sales and knowledge sharing. Responsibilities

• Verify and implement detailed technical designs for enterprise solutions identified by the Project/Technical Manager
• Lead technical assessments and delivery of specific solutions for customers
• Coordinate new installations, designs, and migrations in networks, applications or platforms
• Provide advanced technical consulting on proposal efforts, solution design, system management and tuning
• Contribute to company strategy and drive knowledge sharing within the team/community
• Engage in data-driven problem solving across multiple technologies and develop reusable solutions
• Support sales activities with proposals and qualification of opportunities
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering high performance and collaboration
• Produce internal knowledge materials and contribute to technical conferences/presentations
• Grow the portfolio with existing customers through new opportunities and change management

Key requirements

• Experience using Kubernetes to automate deployment, scaling and management of containerized applications
• Experience working in UK Public Sector
• Experience dealing with highly secure solutions and networks
• Broad architectural knowledge to scope multiple deliverables across technologies
• Ability to lead teams and deliver across multiple tech domains
• Strong communication with internal/external senior management
• DV clearance or eligibility (National Security Clearance Level 04 Developed Vetting)
• Ability to work onsite with limited remote work
• Proven ability to develop market-ready solutions and reuse existing experience
