Senior Associate – Residential Property – Bath – 6+ Years PQE

Overview

In this role you will manage a diverse residential property caseload within a high-performing Bath team, delivering end-to-end digital conveyancing and practical client guidance. You will build strong client relationships, work with partners to scope and price work, and contribute to firm growth through business development. The position combines technical property expertise with a collaborative culture and hybrid working. You will help the team scale through efficient delivery, KPI achievement, and cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage own residential property caseload from instruction to completion
• Deliver end-to-end digital conveyancing using modern technology
• Provide commercially sound legal advice and excellent client service
• Oversee multiple transactions with efficiency and confidence
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with clear, practical guidance
• Collaborate with partners to scope, price, and deliver work
• Develop personal client relationships and professional profile
• Lead and contribute to business development initiatives
• Build a network of clients, contacts and referrers
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across the firm
• Participate in team and sector pitches
• Maintain accurate time records, monitor WIP and billing
• Work towards individual and team KPIs

Key requirements

• 6+ years PQE (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEx)
• Strong experience in residential property work
• Excellent client and project management skills
• Ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
