Senior Global Speciality Reinsurance Actuary
c£140,000 – £170,000 + bonus
What is the opportunity?
We are looking for a qualified actuary to join a global Analytics team supporting the Global Specialties division across Marine & Energy, Crisis Management, Financial Risk and Aviation. This is a highly visible, front-office role providing commercial and analytical insight to colleagues and clients in a fast-paced, varied environment.
You’ll join a collaborative team of actuaries, catastrophe modellers, developers and specialists, working across multiple products and lines of business.
We are seeking a qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent) solid specialty lines experience from a carrier or broker, strong pricing experience and the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
What does the role involve?
- Apply actuarial and commercial insight to price, structure and evaluate reinsurance programmes
- Advise clients on portfolio risks and reinsurance strategies
- Lead or contribute to projects and tenders, managing multiple priorities
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and reinsurers while developing innovative analytical approaches
