Providing high-quality care and emotional supportSupporting children with daily routines, activities, and personal developmentActing as a positive role model and building trusting relationshipsObserving, monitoring, and recording behaviours and progressSupporting education, social development, and life skillsWorking alongside professionals such as social workers, schools, and therapistsContributing to care planning and attending reviews/meetingsSupporting behaviour using appropriate strategiesMaintaining a safe and structured environmentHousehold responsibilities include:

Previous experience working with children and young people (residential preferred)Understanding of safeguarding and child protectionAbility to build strong, positive relationshipsCalm, resilient, and patient approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsFlexible to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekendsWillingness to complete training and continuous professional development
