Overview

As a Technical/Enterprise Security Architect Consultant, you help shape client transformation through security architecture. You translate security requirements into enterprise patterns across the system lifecycle, balancing business goals with risk controls. Your work spans cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments, aligning architectures with industry standards and regulatory expectations. You lead security design choices, review client needs, and guide governance while promoting secure-by-design practices. This role offers impact across client programs and opportunities to deepen architecture and security expertise.

Responsibilities

• Translate technology security requirements into enterprise security patterns across the SDLC
• Identify business objectives, assets, risks, and stakeholder security needs
• Define strategic, tactical, and operational security architecture options
• Outline IT, network, and security principles and target architectures
• Map security controls to business risk and compliance frameworks
• Lead documentation, validation, assessment, and authorization processes
• Perform discovery/audits and document findings and recommendations
• Adopt and apply Cyber/Technology Security Frameworks (NIST/ISO/ISF/COBIT) in solutions
• Demonstrate expertise in security domains (e.g., PAM/IAM, Cloud, IoT, Threat Profiling)
• Guide clients and colleagues through security architecture journeys across hybrid Cloud and On-Prem environments
• Promote Secure by Design and Zero Trust concepts
• Architect end-to-end control requirements across applications, systems, and infrastructure
• Interface with Enterprise Architects, business stakeholders, and technologists at all levels

Key requirements

• Broad security consulting background
• Experience in a Telecoms environment
• Multiple years of client-facing project and presentation experience
• Ability to work in demanding environments and deliver with enthusiasm
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
• Proven ability to engage with Enterprise Architects and business users
• Continued professional growth with architectural/security qualifications (e.g., Open CA, TOGAF, SABSA, CCSK, CCSP, CNDA)
• Willingness to obtain Defence Vetting (SC) or similar for public sector work
• Previous public sector experience preferred
