Overview

In this role you drive new business and strengthen long-term account value by aligning Advania’s portfolio of solutions with customers’ objectives. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to build a healthy sales pipeline and deliver compelling proposals. The position sits at the intersection of strategic sales, account growth, and trusted customer advisory in a Microsoft-aligned, technology-driven environment. You’ll travel across the UK to nurture executive relationships and contribute to revenue and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and grow net new opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and service expansion
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand customers’ business objectives
  • Generate and qualify opportunities within existing accounts and targeted prospects
  • Manage the sales process from identification to proposal, negotiation and onboarding
  • Position Advania’s portfolio across Managed Services, Cloud, Microsoft, Security, Infrastructure, and Workplace
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and solution architects to create customer proposals
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline, CRM records, forecasts and account plans
  • Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies and competitors to advise customers
  • Aim to meet revenue, gross profit and customer retention targets
  • Attend Advania offices or customer sites 3 days a week
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders, specialists and operations
  • Manage customer requirements efficiently

Key requirements

  • Proven success in strategic B2B IT sales within a VAR, MSP or systems integrator
  • Strong understanding of Advania’s data centre, network, cyber security, modern workplace, end user compute, and related offerings
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills with multiple stakeholder levels
  • Ability to identify customer challenges and align technology solutions to business outcomes
  • Self-motivated, commercially driven and focused on outstanding customer experiences
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting and achieving gross profit targets
  • Collaborative approach with solution specialists, pre-sales and operations
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools
  • Willingness to travel across the UK for relationships and opportunities
