Overview

In this remote Account Manager role, you’ll drive sales across South and Central England, owning the territory and delivering growth through distributors and end users. You’ll expand Enerpac’s bolting portfolio and broader industrial tool lines, shaping opportunities from discovery to close. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions, forecast accurately, and build a robust pipeline. Travel to customers and partners is expected, with a focus on durable relationships and market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Own designated South and Central England territory to achieve sales growth and objectives
  • Develop new customers and broaden Enerpac’s presence in key industrial markets
  • Grow bolting portfolio sales through distributors and direct engagement with end users
  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors, customers, and decision-makers
  • Manage and expand distribution channels to improve market coverage
  • Prospect, qualify, and convert opportunities into profitable sales
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with actions and next steps
  • Provide accurate forecasts and participate in pipeline reviews
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and drive opportunities to order
  • Develop territory and account plans targeting growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create customer solutions
  • Promote cross-sell of Enerpac products and services
  • Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and training as appropriate
  • Monitor market and competitor activity and share insights with teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM data (Salesforce) for accounts and opportunities
  • Collaborate with UK and regional colleagues on commercial strategies
  • Represent Enerpac professionally to customers and partners
  • Follow policies and HSSEQ safety requirements

Key requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience and success in account management or business development in an industrial environment
  • Track record of developing new customers and converting opportunities to sales
  • Experience managing a geographical sales territory with pipeline, forecasting, and performance responsibility
  • Experience working with industrial distributors and end users preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial bolting, torque, tensioning or related tools is advantageous
  • Experience in related markets such as industrial tools, hydraulics, or engineered products is relevant
  • CRM experience to manage accounts and forecasts; Salesforce advantageous
  • Strong MS Office skills and fluent English
  • Degree in engineering, business, or related discipline beneficial but not required
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the territory and occasionally beyond
  • Comfort discussing technical applications with customers and collaborating with technical specialists
  • Strong sales drive and opportunity conversion focus
