Overview
In this role you will support the Retro Ceded Re Operations team in managing technical accounting and ARAP processes for Retro Ceded accounts. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and contribute to regulatory reporting, controls, and continuous improvement. The position offers exposure to end-to-end accounting activities within a global insurer and opportunities to impact efficiency and data-driven decision making. Responsibilities
- End-to-end credit control of ARAP for Retro Ceded accounts
- Escalation to close open items and reconcile items with stakeholders
- Bank account reconciliation
- Reconciliation between Destiny and FDM
- Billing process management and BDX monitoring
- Interact with Ceded Re Insurance segment teams
- Regulatory and operational report production and submission
- Internal control compliance with the company framework
- Provide support to Line Manager
- Support internal/external audit requests
- BAU: ARAP backlog clearance project
- BAU: Ceded XOL Risks claims reporting
- BAU: Bermuda reporting
Key requirements
- Graduate / Post Graduate
- Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance beneficial
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, innovative mindset to drive operational efficiencies
- Proficiency in MS-Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-starter, solution oriented, team player
- Organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
