Implementation Consultant– Fund Accounting

Overview

In this role you will lead and support the implementation of investment accounting platforms for asset managers and related clients. You will work within a high-profile, tech-forward environment to drive successful rollouts, ensure timely deliverables, and maintain strong client relationships. You’ll combine technical expertise with business analysis to translate requirements into practical solutions, balancing project plans with client needs. Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end investment accounting platform implementations and related solutions for asset managers and funds
• Draft and track project plans and budgets, coordinating tasks and milestones
• Maintain and nurture client relationships through operations reviews, process improvements, and vendor review meetings
• Oversee roll-forward and catch-up phases ensuring monthly/quarterly deliverables (transaction processing, reconciliations, P&L, compliance, performance reporting)
• Perform business analysis, capture new requirements, and conduct workflow/operational reviews
• Prepare for and lead client status calls; escalate issues as needed
• Provide information and support during the entire implementation life cycle

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar
• Investment accounting implementations or experience in accounting firms including STAT accounting principles
• Strong experience with Fixed Income products, derivatives (Options, Futures, Swaps, FX), and commercial loans
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project
• Experience with Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Visio, MSSQL, and Bloomberg or Reuters terminals/data products
• Knowledge of trading life cycle and IBOR
• Knowledge of amortization, book value and yields
