Overview

In questa role you provide frontline IT support to DP World’s European sites, ensuring reliable end-user technology and secure infrastructure. You will work with internal IT teams to diagnose and resolve issues, support infrastructure projects, and maintain clear technical documentation. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with customer service to keep business operations running smoothly. You will be part of a global logistics tech ecosystem that values security, collaboration and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape IT service delivery across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers and barcode scanners.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and server issues, escalating as needed.
  • Support local and remote users with high levels of service and technical expertise.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, work instructions and support procedures.
  • Monitor and respond to service desk alerts, requests and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Participate in an on-call support rota for out-of-hours coverage across Europe.
  • Assist with infrastructure projects such as site launches, server upgrades, network refreshes and growth initiatives.
  • Follow change, incident and problem management processes and IT security standards.
  • Assist with IT asset management and lifecycle records.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors and stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.

Key requirements

  • Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent professional certifications
  • Experience providing first and second-line IT support across end-user devices, OS and business applications
  • Strong understanding of desktop hardware, networking (LAN/WAN) and server environments
  • Experience with incident, change and documentation processes
  • Methodical troubleshooting, clear communication to technical and non-technical users, and ability to manage competing priorities
