Test Analyst or Senior Test Analyst

Overview

In this role you consult to top-tier clients across the testing lifecycle, planning and supporting large-scale projects. You will contribute to test strategy, estimate resources, and ensure quality through thorough test design and defect management. You work closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into test conditions and deliver reliable results. This is a hands-on QA role that blends client collaboration with rigorous testing, enabling complex systems to meet business goals. Responsibilities

• Review requirements for testability
• Consult with clients to clarify user and system requirements when documentation is lacking
• Define test conditions and objectives
• Create comprehensive test cases aligned with test conditions
• Execute tests and report results
• Raise and close defects as needed
• Periodic results reporting to managers

Key requirements

• Minimum 3 years in all areas of the SDLC (Test Analyst)
• Solid understanding of test methodologies and processes
• Ability to produce high-quality test material from various sources
• Minimum 5 years in all areas of the SDLC (Senior Test Analyst)
• Defect process management experience
• Experience across test levels (System, SIT, UAT)
• Mentoring teammates and contributing to project expertise
• Experience in estimating test resources (time, people, environments)
