Senior Internal Communications Manager

Mostly in office role – London 4 days a week, 1 day from home

12 months fixed term contract

Our client, a fast growing international organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Communications Manager to lead employee communications and engagement initiatives across a global workforce.

Working closely with senior leaders and cross functional teams, you’ll drive internal communication strategies, oversee key employee engagement campaigns, and support the delivery of company-wide events. This is a highly visible role that combines strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver internal communications strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support leadership communications and change initiatives.
• Create engaging content across multiple channels, including intranet, email, presentations, speeches and employee campaigns.
• Manage the internal communications calendar and coordinate communications across global teams.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives that strengthen culture, connection and alignment.
• Support the planning and delivery of internal events, town halls and corporate engagement programmes.
• Measure communications effectiveness and provide regular reporting and insights.
• Manage internal communications platforms and identify opportunities to improve channels and technology.
• Lead, coach and develop a small communications team.

About You

• Proven experience in a senior internal communications role within a complex, international organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience advising senior leaders.
• Experience delivering employee engagement, culture and change communication programmes.
• Experience working on internal events.
• Previous people management experience is essential, including coaching, developing and leading communications professionals.
• Demonstrable experience working with designers, videographers, creative agencies and multimedia specialists, managing projects from brief through to delivery
