Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Overview

In this role you ensure products, labels and communications meet EU/UK food legislation and internal policies. You provide regulatory guidance across R&D, artwork, marketing, supply chain and legal to support compliant product launches and changes across Europe. You translate complex rules into practical business decisions, managing risk on labeling, claims and product information. You work cross-functionally to underpin market readiness and continuous regulatory updates. You join Kraft Heinz’s mission to drive safe, compliant, and innovative food across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory information across product categories and systems to support compliant delivery
• Review ingredient specs, recipes and label artwork for EU/UK compliance
• Provide regulatory input to cross-functional teams for Europe-wide products
• Support product launches, renovations and changes from kickoff to launch
• Advise on claims, advertising and promotional materials with risk-aware guidance
• Respond to internal, consumer and customer queries on product information and labeling
• Stay current on EU/UK legislation and share updates with stakeholders
• Develop practical recommendations by building knowledge of Kraft Heinz products and processes

Key requirements

• Degree in scientific discipline or equivalent experience
• Regulatory experience in food, FMCG or related sector
• Strong understanding of EU and UK food law, including labeling, nutrition/health claims and additives
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Clear communication and stakeholder management across functions
• Ability to assess issues, identify risk and provide pragmatic recommendations
• Proactive, curious, solutions-oriented mindset
• Ownership mentality with ability to work independently and escalate when needed
