Your day to day As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical and mechanical production equipment. You will work closely with production teams to minimise downtime, improve machine reliability and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Maintaining machinery and site infrastructure to a high operational standard.
- Using the site’s CMMS to record maintenance activities and drive performance improvements.
- Providing technical support to production and other departments.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety, food safety and quality standards.
Your essentials
- Time-served Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer.
- Minimum of two years’ experience within a high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
- Experience working with control panels and automated production equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
