Responsibilities

• Design and implement software architectures and solutions at the system level
• Develop across the full product lifecycle from concept to release and deployment
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to realize concepts into service-ready designs
• Work hands-on to solve challenging technical problems from first principles
• Communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Contribute to projects in the Defence and Security sector while collaborating across sectors

Key requirements

• Breadth of programming experience with Python, C, C++
• Experience with standard toolchains (Git, Jira, CI/CD)
• Experience developing applications across Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile
• Demonstrated ability to deliver designs into service and manage lifecycle stages
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on attitude and ability to work from first principles
• Willingness to be onsite at least four days a week
• Degree in software engineering or related subject
• Ability to obtain UK security clearance (nationality requirement)
