Software Developer – Manchester (.net/C#)

Overview

In this role you will join the development team as a skilled .Net engineer, shaping both core web applications and modern mobile-enabled systems. You will collaborate with the development director to refine architecture and mentor teammates, driving technology choices across the product range. The initial project focuses on a fully electronic pick-and-pack system for mobile devices, with ongoing work on e-commerce sites and ePOS solutions. This is a hands-on role with scope to introduce new technologies and raise design quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the software development director to improve system design and architecture
• Translate requirements into design and implement robust software solutions
• Mentor other team members and share development best practices
• Lead or contribute to the electronic pick-and-pack system project for mobile devices
• Develop core web-based business applications and fully featured e-commerce sites
• Contribute to forms-based ePOS solutions and other product initiatives
