Overview

As a Mobile Electrical Service Engineer at JLL, you will ensure reliable operation of on-site MEP systems and support high-quality facilities management. You will work within JLL Workplace Management in Greater London, collaborating with cross-functional teams to sustain show-site standards and safety. You’ll handle electrical isolations, reporting, and vendor coordination to keep systems efficient. This role offers hands-on impact in a client-facing, performance-driven environment with opportunities to improve site operations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all MEP systems on site, including MV/LV electrical isolations and operations
  • Provide concise technical reports and improvement recommendations
  • Complete assigned eLogbooks (PPM/Reactive) within SLA
  • Ensure specialist vendor visits are efficient and quality is assessed
  • Take ownership of the site and plant rooms under JLL control
  • Maintain show-site standards across sites
  • Participate in health and safety compliance activities
  • Submit hazard/near-miss reports and participate in toolbox talks
  • Liaise with supply chain for ordering M&E components
  • Monitor and ensure timely completion of tasks and documentation

Key requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Building Services Environments
  • Electrical Engineering apprenticeship/NVQ/C&G or similar qualification
  • C&G Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent
  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (or ability to attain if only 17th Edition)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with all staff levels
