Overview

In this role, you will support regional and global events to drive business growth in Checkout.com’s UK/Europe markets. You’ll partner with commercial teams, manage the event lifecycle, and craft data-driven audience plans to generate pipeline. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure events align with strategic goals and scale operational processes for efficiency. This is a hands-on, high-impact position in a fast-paced fintech environment with global reach and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing regional event strategy across regional events, experiential marketing, and global initiatives
  • Plan and execute end-to-end events, including vetting, sourcing, budgeting, and on-site delivery with cross-functional coordination
  • Contribute to audience acquisition plans using data-driven insights to drive pipeline
  • Support KPI tracking, data analysis, and program performance summaries with actionable recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to optimize activity against KPIs and scale processes for efficiency
  • Document and standardize event planning processes and workflows
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly to external partners and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrate project management skills to deliver programs with senior guidance

Key requirements

  • 3+ years in a similar role, ideally in payments/fintech or event agency
  • Self-starter with data passion and proactive ideation
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills with high attention to detail
  • Operational proficiency with event management software, marketing automation, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot, Zoom)
  • Willingness to travel 20%-40% for event management
