Overview

In this role you will develop and secure a profitable, sustainable pipeline for Low Voltage solutions in commercial buildings while supporting Eaton’s EV charging infrastructure growth. You will collaborate with teams in Ireland and the UK, drive integrated business development with consultants, contractors, and panel builders, and push energy transition opportunities. You will leverage digital tools to improve efficiency and contribute to strategic projects aligned with the UK commercial buildings plan. This is an impact-minded, cross-functional sales role in a dynamic market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a sustainable, profitable pipeline aligned to annual/quarterly targets
  • Maintain and grow sales activity with customers via face-to-face and digital engagement
  • Drive sales efficiency and adoption of digital tools
  • Lead pull-based activities with target customers (contractors and consultants)
  • Advance penetration with panel builder partners through the partner programme for demand generation and coverage
  • Identify opportunities for EV charging and energy storage solutions within Eaton’s energy transition
  • Collaborate with business units to execute strategic projects fitting the UK commercial buildings strategy
  • Understand competitive landscape and customer needs; contribute to new offers and launches
  • Maintain close working relationships with UK/Ireland marketing to drive customer acquisition and retention
  • Use CRM analytics to analyze activity, pipeline, and conversion rates to hit targets
  • Uphold high ethical standards and safety aligned with Eaton culture

Key requirements

  • Experience in a B2B environment, dealing with contractors or specifiers in construction or technology
  • Sales planning and execution experience
  • CRM adoption experience (preferably Salesforce)
  • Power BI usage experience
  • Understanding of the UK construction sector and commercial building electrical infrastructure (preferred)
  • Knowledge of power distribution solutions (preferred)
  • Strong customer relationship skills and ability to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Ability to adapt to change and operate with a compelling vision
  • Proven track record of delivering results under challenging conditions
