Overview
As Senior Sales Manager, you will drive rapid growth of Checkout.com’s payments footprint across mid-market and large enterprise clients. You will lead consultative payments strategy, build engagement plans, and close strategic deals while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll become the expert on Checkout.com’s stack, guiding merchants to value and handling complex questions. Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify high-potential prospects and partners to maintain a healthy pipeline across verticals
- Build engagement strategies with marketing, BD, product, and other teams to generate qualified pipeline through cold and warm channels
- Pitch Checkout.com’s next‑generation payment solutions and value-added services
- Prepare high-quality proposals for C-suite stakeholders and lead negotiations to win deals
- Master Checkout.com’s technology stack to explain value and address detailed product questions
- Own the end-to-end sales process, create mutual action plans, and be the primary contact for merchants and internal stakeholders
- Nurture key accounts with deep industry understanding and needs
- Share best practices and industry trends with fellow Sales Managers
- Provide feedback on local market trends, competitor insights, and customer needs
Key requirements
- 5+ years of Enterprise Sales experience in the Payments industry
- Proven track record of high performance and self-sourced leads
- Strong communication skills and motivation for growth
- Solid network of potential prospects and partners in payments
