Recruitment Consultant

Overview

As a Recruitment Consultant in our Tax practice, you will help shape the tax recruitment offering for an established Accounting & Finance team. You’ll manage senior stakeholder relationships, win new business, and deliver tailored recruitment solutions across the Tax market. The role combines business development with delivery excellence, supported by a collaborative, values-led culture. You will grow the Tax desk and build your personal brand while contributing to Stanton House’s growth and reputation.

Responsibilities

• Win new clients across the Tax market
• Build relationships with Heads of Tax, Tax Directors, CFOs, Finance Directors and HR leaders
• Lead client meetings to understand hiring strategies and talent needs
• Grow existing accounts through repeat business and cross-selling
• Provide market insight, salary benchmarking and talent intelligence
• Build personal brand via LinkedIn and thought leadership
• Collaborate with delivery consultants to ensure an outstanding client experience

Key requirements

• Proven track record in permanent recruitment, ideally within Tax
• Experience building out your own desk
• Strong business development and client relationship skills
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Commercial awareness and ability to influence senior stakeholders
