Overview
In this fixed-term role, you lead quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts for KMMS, focusing on enhancing the BMBS programme, student experience, and operational efficiency. You’ll align quality governance with NHS partners and support the KMMS senior academic team in maintaining high standards. You’ll drive process reviews, implement improvements, and manage information governance activities. This role offers impact at a system level through consolidation and improvement workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee quality control standards and governance for the Medical School and NHS partners
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and stakeholder experience
- Manage information governance activities including Information Asset Register and Data Protection tools
- Collaborate with Schools Quality Manager and Head of Operations to implement policies and procedures
- Support KMMS senior academic leadership in maintaining quality and standards
- Coordinate with external regulatory bodies and agencies as needed
- Oversee engagement with NHS Data Protection Security Toolkit
- Ensure alignment of improvement projects with partner institutions' Target Operating Models
- Experience of quality assurance and enhancement issues within a higher education or NHS environment
- Experience working with professional and statutory regulatory bodies and external agencies (e.g., QAA, GMC)
