Day Shift Electrical Engineer – Canary Wharf

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Day Shift Electrical Biased Engineer for a temporary position in Canary Wharf for 9 months.

The role involves ensuring that all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently, adhering to the technical, safety, health, environmental, and operational quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

This role is paying up to a maximum of £32 per hour Umbrella or £24.24 per hour PAYE + holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks and responsive repairs on electrical systems, lighting, and power within the facility.
• Perform weekly fire alarm checks to ensure systems are fully operational.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logbooks of all maintenance activities.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure maintenance tasks are completed effectively and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Support the maintenance of documentation and assist in compiling reports as required.
