Overview
In this Bristol-based role you will lead technical delivery and people development within a growing civil engineering team. You’ll oversee design and delivery of multiple schemes, ensuring quality outputs and client satisfaction while mentoring engineers and graduates. The position offers a clear path to leadership and long-term growth, supported by an established pipeline and collaborative leadership. You will shape project outcomes, strengthen client relationships, and act as the technical authority to drive delivery and capability expansion.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of civil engineering schemes with emphasis on quality and efficiency
- Manage multiple projects from inception to delivery and approvals
- Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, graduates and apprentices
- Communicate engineering solutions clearly and make evidence-based decisions
Key requirements
- Chartered Civil Engineer with hands-on design experience
- Strong experience in Civil 3D and drainage design
- Proven track record in project delivery and client engagement
- Mentoring capability and leadership mindset
