Overview

As Director Business Development Executive, you will drive new B2B acceptance with Visa by articulating compelling value for suppliers and buyers. You will shape strategic initiatives to recapture spend migrated away from the Visa network and expand acceptance with large B2B merchants. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove onboarding barriers and accelerate adoption. This role places you at the center of a high-growth, global effort to expand commercial acceptance and strengthen supplier-buyer partnerships. You will engage industry leaders and represent Visa at events to advance our B2B payments agenda.

Responsibilities

  • Identify B2B acceptance opportunities, access key decision-makers, and manage a structured pipeline.
  • Develop strategies to re-engage suppliers whose spend declined or moved away from Visa.
  • Create tailored value propositions for supplier and buyer needs regarding Visa acceptance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities, remove onboarding barriers, and accelerate adoption.
  • Ensure merchants and suppliers optimize their acceptance environment using appropriate tools and solutions.
  • Provide analytics and deal-modeling leadership in partnership with regional teams and pricing.
  • Monitor supplier engagement metrics and spend recovery trends.
  • Recruit senior leaders at corporations to attend Visa forums and events.
  • Represent Visa at industry events.
  • Travel approximately 20% of the time; location in London; hybrid work arrangement.

Key requirements

  • Experience selling B2B payment acceptance with large strategic suppliers.
  • Background in business development, strategic partnerships, or merchant services.
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to articulate working capital value to large corporates.
  • Self-starter with proven go-to-market strategy execution.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and networking across supplier and buyer ecosystems.
  • Experience navigating onboarding processes and working with acquirers or reseller channels.
