Product Designer

Overview

In this role you shape internal systems and service journeys that empower Liberis’ operational teams and merchants. You’ll own design delivery from discovery to shipped interfaces, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers. You will craft high-fidelity UI in Figma, contribute to and maintain the design system, and test ideas with users to reduce friction. This role sits at the heart of our fulfilment workflows, offering real impact through well‑considered, measurable design outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship interfaces for internal systems used by Operations, Underwriting and Collections
• Partner with Product Manager and Engineering Manager across the product lifecycle from discovery to post-launch iteration
• Develop high-fidelity UI in Figma from wireframes to pixel-perfect, developer-ready screens
• Own and evolve the design system ensuring consistency across the product
• Conduct interviews and usability testing with operational teams to identify friction and map end-to-end journeys
• Translate complex workflows into clear, usable tools that support daily operations

Key requirements

• Facilitate UX research and clearly communicate findings to validate features
• Strategic thinking to plan beyond immediate features for long-term product direction
• Strong Figma experience with component best practices, auto layout and variant management
• Experience with developer handover and collaboration with engineers
• Collaborative design process with iterative feedback from stakeholders and peers
• Ability to prototype at pace with interactive designs and high attention to detail
• Usability testing experience and adherence to WCAG accessibility standards
• Knowledge of service design techniques like service blueprints and user journey maps
