Overview

In this role, you will support EY-Parthenon’s Operational Due Diligence practice by shaping deal-related strategies and execution plans. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to originate business opportunities, prepare client-ready materials, and drive value-creating recommendations under tight timelines. You’ll lead and mentor junior colleagues and help scale practice initiatives in a large, global consulting environment. This is an opportunity to influence post-deal integration, carve-outs, and operational restructurings at major clients while working within an innovative, AI-enabled advisory platform.

Responsibilities

  • Support business origination through pitches and client presentations to win work
  • Advise clients across sectors on strategies for value creation within a transaction context
  • Lead blended project teams and manage senior client meetings to shape integration or carve-out plans
  • Oversee engagement management, including commercials and risk
  • Contribute to practice development and a positive team culture
  • Act as a role model, developing junior team members and assisting with recruitment and training
  • Demonstrate ability to perform and summarize analysis into actionable insights at pace
  • Provide flexibility to support broader IT and operational transaction work

Key requirements

  • Specialism in at least three of: professional services/consulting; transactions (due diligence, carve-out, or integrations); deep understanding of core operational functions
  • Strong analytical skills linking operational analysis to financial statements and implications for client strategy
  • Experience building relationships with senior clients and influencing key decision-makers
  • Experience supporting sales and business development in a large-scale consulting environment
  • Track record of delivering projects and managing teams and vendors
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations
