Senior Consultant, Vendor Management Office

Overview

In this role you will lead global sourcing initiatives within Harbor’s Vendor Management Office, focusing on cost savings and performance improvements across key spend areas. You will drive end-to-end procurement projects, influence stakeholders across regions, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers. You’ll collaborate with the procurement team to ensure compliance with global policies and deliver strategic impact for the organization. This is a hybrid, London-based opportunity with a mission to shape complex sourcing programs for a leading professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic procurement sourcing projects across regions (real estate, marketing and brand, finance transformation, client management)
• Manage RFP processes, contract markups and supplier negotiations
• Collaborate with the Procurement team and stakeholders to deliver cost savings and performance improvements
• Act as a procurement subject matter expert within assigned areas
• Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with suppliers
• Support initiatives to ensure compliance with global procurement policies
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to articulate complex projects to senior levels

Key requirements

• Degree-level qualification (Bachelor)
• Experience delivering large, global procurement projects
• Ability to influence global stakeholders
• Ability to present to senior leadership and project committees
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices and tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• MCIPS or recognised procurement qualification desirable
