Overview

You lead AI-enabled data and analytics programmes for top-tier financial institutions, blending strategic leadership with hands-on technical delivery. You shape initiatives from problem definition to value delivery, guiding cross-functional teams of data scientists and engineers. You represent Capco’s Data Practice externally, contributing to propositions and thought leadership. This role focuses on delivering measurable outcomes at scale in a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that values continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Scope and prioritise AI and analytics initiatives across financial institutions
• Lead end-to-end delivery from problem definition to delivery, balancing value, feasibility and data readiness
• Own delivery outcomes, collaborating with data scientists, engineers and client stakeholders
• Provide leadership and mentoring to data scientists and AI engineers
• Represent Capco’s Data Practice externally and contribute to AI-focused propositions and partnerships

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading AI-driven data and analytics programmes in consulting or complex enterprises
• Strong expertise in applied AI, machine learning, analytics and data platform integration for scalable production
• Knowledge of cutting-edge AI technologies (Agentic AI, GenAI, Knowledge Graphs, etc.)
• Ability to translate AI capabilities into clear business value for senior stakeholders
• Experience designing, governing and scaling AI solutions within regulated financial services environments
• Confidence operating across multiple workstreams while building sustainable AI/analytics capability
