Strategy Analyst

Overview

As Strategy Analyst in the CEO Office, you turn data into insights that drive strategic, commercial and operational decisions. You’ll work with senior leaders to shape Rathbones’ direction and turn strategy into action in a fast-paced, high-performing team. This role offers exposure to C-Suite stakeholders and a meaningful platform to develop commercial acumen and leadership capabilities. You’ll contribute to cross-functional problem solving and narrative-driven recommendations that influence the firm’s future.

Responsibilities

• Build the analytical foundation for strategic decision-making across the business
• Explore large data sets to identify patterns, opportunities and evidence-based recommendations
• Leverage AI and analytical tools to speed research, modelling and insight generation
• Support business planning, forecasting and performance monitoring
• Translate analysis and competing viewpoints into concise executive messages and recommendations
• Create presentations, papers and briefing materials for senior stakeholders
• Tailor communications for audiences from teams to Board-level discussions
• Connect data, context and strategy into a coherent narrative and ensure outputs are decision-ready
• Continuously improve the quality, consistency and impact of outputs

Key requirements

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
• Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, finance or analytical environments
• Excellent research and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with clear, persuasive presentation of complex information
