You will lead civil engineering design for water projects, collaborating with design leads to ensure successful delivery across the Water division. You’ll help develop and mentor junior engineers while guiding the civil team to meet client objectives. The role places you at the heart of major Water and Wastewater schemes, including Design and Build opportunities, within a culture focused on sustainability and community impact. Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering design for water projects and ensure alignment with project design leads
- Support delivery objectives and project outcomes for clients
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and lead the civil engineering team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design and Build initiatives
- Leverage Stantec’s expertise to deliver cutting-edge, compliant designs
Key requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related subject
- Professional qualification (Chartered or Incorporated) with ICE or CIWEM preferred
- Experience delivering UK water industry projects and successful project delivery
- Strong client-facing experience and ability to lead client engagement
