Senior Property Litigation Lawyer – Birmingham

Overview

In this role you will join a specialist dispute resolution team in a Birmingham law firm to handle a broad spectrum of property litigation matters. You will work on landlord and tenant disputes, ownership issues, and boundary and title disputes, delivering high-quality, independent advice. Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of property litigation matters (landlord/tenant disputes, lease interpretation, dilapidations, forfeiture, rent arrears, break notices, lease renewals)
• Advise on property ownership disputes (co-ownership, TOLATA, boundary issues, rights of way, easements, restrictive covenants)
• Advise on adverse possession and title issues
• Handle complex, high-value matters independently
• Provide clear, commercial, and pragmatic advice to clients
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and manage stakeholder communications
• Contribute to the specialist dispute resolution team’s objectives and quality standards
• Support a collaborative, team-driven work environment and share knowledge

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor
• Significant post-qualification experience in property litigation
• Experience handling complex, high-value matters independently
