Associate Director, Consumer & ER&I Industry, Quality Engineering (QE)

Overview

In this Associate Director role, you lead Quality Engineering and testing solutions for Deloitte’s Consumer and ER&I clients, with a SAP focus. You shape test strategy, architectures, and assurance frameworks across SAP landscapes, guiding multi-capability teams and executives. You’ll strengthen senior client relationships, help grow QE propositions, and coach junior staff to raise quality standards. This position offers impact across SAP-driven transformations and strategic QE excellence within a global professional services context.

Responsibilities

• Define modern Quality Engineering strategies, test architectures, and assurance frameworks for SAP landscapes
• Lead delivery programmes with senior stakeholders to ensure high-quality QE outcomes on time
• Collaborate to develop and implement SAP-centric Go to Market propositions to attract clients
• Shape client QE strategies and transformation roadmaps across Consumer and ER&I sectors with SAP expertise
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and guide investment in QE tools/methods for SAP
• Contribute to pre-sales, bids, and client presentations to advance QE propositions in SAP
• Coach and mentor junior QE team members and contribute to accelerators and standards for SAP testing

Key requirements

• Deep Consumer or ER&I industry expertise with significant SAP exposure (S/4HANA and core SAP modules)
• Proven leadership directing complex QE programmes in SAP implementations and transformations
• Strong experience defining QE strategies across functional, automation, performance, security, data, and non-functional testing in SAP contexts
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management bridging technical and business audiences
• Extensive client-facing consulting experience advising on QE challenges and transformation priorities in SAP landscapes
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing QE teams and foster continuous improvement in SAP testing methodologies
