Senior Learning & Development Adviser

Overview

In this role you will shape learning across the firm to boost performance, capability and client service. You will partner with senior leaders and colleagues to design practical, engaging development solutions and lead technology-enabled learning initiatives. You’ll oversee Microsoft 365 and firm systems training, create high-quality learning materials, and track activity. You will support trainee solicitors and firm-wide development programmes while contributing to L&D and technology projects. This is a growth role with opportunities to take broader responsibility as the function evolves.

Responsibilities

• Design and enable learning across legal, professional, business and technology areas
• Lead training on Microsoft 365 and firm systems for new and existing colleagues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate development needs into effective learning solutions
• Develop and maintain clear, high-quality learning materials
• Use learning systems to deliver and track training activity
• Support trainee solicitor development and firm-wide employee development programmes
• Contribute to L&D and technology-related projects
• Provide information for audits, accreditations, awards and tenders
• Explore how emerging technologies, including AI, can enhance learning and productivity

Key requirements

• Strong L&D background with experience delivering learning solutions
