Overview
In this role you drive end-to-end IFM bid and proposal development within Global Occupier Services, coordinating cross-functional teams to articulate the client value proposition. You will lead storyboarding, win themes, and delivery of compelling proposals and presentations for regional/global pursuits. Your work directly supports client opportunities in Integrated Facilities Management and IPM, influencing win strategies and brand-aligned outputs. This is a hybrid role in London or Birmingham, offering impact across multi-team collaboration and formal bid processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end IFM proposal and presentation development, clarifying requirements, roles, and deadlines
- Participate in IFM bid meetings to capture client objectives and win strategy
- Develop strategic messaging and win themes for IFM solutions and client value propositions
- Collaborate with Central Bids, IFM operations, solutioning, transition, commercial and SMEs as contributors/reviewers
- Create tailored IFM proposals detailing operating model, service delivery, mobilisation plan, governance, and value; coordinate reviews
- Identify graphic design needs and coordinate with Central Bids for design resources
- Oversee production and timely delivery of proposals (electronic and hardcopy)
- Write, edit, format, and proof all proposal and presentation deliverables; conduct red team reviews
- Prepare additional pursuit materials (presentations, clarifications, FBO materials)
- Organise pursuit prep sessions (kick-offs, storyboarding, solution reviews, rehearsals)
- Support Head of Bid Management and senior bid managers on strategic bids
- Contribute to new content development and strategic initiatives
- Champion brand consistency across deliverables
- Close-out pursuits and update knowledge library with revised content
- Build strong relationships with IFM/IPM SMEs, operations, transition, commercial teams, service lines and GOS leadership
- Perform other related duties as required
Key requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a bid management environment
- Essential: experience in an IFM environment
- Experience assimilating and responding to regional/global IFM RFIs/RFPs and presentations
- Experience in Real Estate (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications/business or related field (preferred)
- APMP qualification (plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to repurpose or create new written material
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
