CLASS 2 (C) ADR CYLINDER DRIVER – NORWICH

This temporary contract pays £16.94 per hour, rising to £25.41 for overtime, with 42.5 guaranteed weekly hours.

Pay & Working Hours

• £16.94 per hour basic rate
• £25.41 per hour overtime rate
• 42.5 guaranteed hours per week
• 28 days holiday per year, increasing with length of service
• Typical working hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm, occasional Saturdays during busy periods

Role

You will be responsible for the safe and professional delivery of gas cylinders to customers. Your duties will include:

• Multi-drop delivery of gas cylinders
• Loading, unloading and manual handling of gas cylinders
• Providing excellent customer service
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and professionally
• Following company procedures and health and safety standards
• Complying with drivers’ hours legislation and tachograph requirements

Requirements

• Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid CPC qualification
• Valid ADR Class 2 in Packages
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph legislation
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties
• Newly qualified or inexperienced drivers with the relevant licences are welcome to apply

Important Information

• Maximum 6 points on your driving licence
• No DD or DR convictions within the last 12 months
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check
