Senior Project Controls Engineer – Risk- Bristol & Cardiff

Overview

In this role you will contribute to the South West infrastructure portfolio by collating progress data and updating schedules within risk-based tools. You will produce monthly progress reports and help embed digital reporting through Power BI. You’ll support governance and assurance of project controls processes while working with cross-functional teams on high-profile infrastructure projects. The opportunity combines technical control work with clear impact on delivery, efficiency, and risk management in a growing region.

Responsibilities

• Collate progress data and update project/programme schedules in Risk Hive, ARM or Predict!
• Prepare monthly reports tracking progress against baselines
• Support training and communication for digital reporting and processes (Power BI)
• Assist Project Controls Manager with governance and assurance of project controls processes

Key requirements

• Graduated in a relevant discipline with some project control experience
• Proactive, self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills
• Experience in project/programme management with delivery or controls responsibilities
• Experience using @risk, Primavera P6, Power BI, and Microsoft Office tools
• Reliable, able to work autonomously and in a team
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
