In this role you will deliver strategic insights on financial services trends, technologies, and regulatory developments to help Swift anticipate market shifts and guide leadership. You will translate complex industry topics into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders and support board-ready materials. You’ll lead deep-dives on payments, digital assets, AI, and market infrastructure to shape strategic decisions. Responsibilities

• Research and analyze industry trends, external developments, technology shifts, regulatory changes, and market structures across financial services.
• Develop strategic insights and recommendations to identify opportunities, growth, and risks for Swift.
• Translate complex developments into clear implications and actionable guidance for senior stakeholders.
• Lead or support deep-dives on topics including payments, securities, trade finance, digital assets, AI, central banking, and financial market infrastructure.
• Support creation of Board, ExCo, and leadership materials such as strategic briefings, outlooks, thought leadership, and executive presentations.

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10–12 years of experience in consulting, research, fintech or financial services
• Knowledge of payments is essential
• Ability to synthesize complex information into concise executive insights
• Experience using AI tools and technologies to enhance research and productivity (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills across oral, written, and presentation formats
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, diverse environment
