Cyber Security Lead and Architect

Overview

In this role you will provide strategic and operational security leadership across a large, customer-facing business. You will help shape and deliver the cyber security program in a complex, regulated context. You will engage across stakeholders to oversee cyber governance, risk management, and compliance activities, including regulatory frameworks such as NIS/NIS2. You will work with agile delivery teams and digital platforms to ensure robust security controls and assurance, driving security maturity and incident prevention. This is an opportunity to influence security strategy at scale and partner with senior leaders to protect critical assets.

Responsibilities

• cyber governance and oversight across digital platforms, projects, and agile delivery teams
• risk management and assurance activities to maintain security posture
• regulatory compliance management, including NIS/NIS2 considerations
• stakeholder engagement and influencing senior leaders
• security controls implementation and ongoing security maturity improvements

Key requirements

• strong technical cyber security background with security architecture and controls
• experience developing and delivering cyber security strategy and leading security initiatives
• deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CAF, NIS, NIS2) and audits
• excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building across business and technology
• experience in governance, risk management, and compliance including risk assessments
