Overview

In this Belfast-based role you provide a full range of business tax advisory services to a diverse client base. You work with tax specialists to cover UK and international planning, and support on tax due diligence and structuring for mergers and acquisitions. The position offers exposure to senior stakeholders, broad project variety, and opportunities to shape client outcomes and practice growth within EY. You will lead and coach teams, delivering high-quality, business-focused tax solutions that add value.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate delivery of business tax advisory services with technical excellence and practical focus
• Build and maintain client relationships, delivering high-quality, value-driven work
• Develop internal relationships to provide deep specialist support to clients
• Contribute to winning new work by managing existing clients and building business connections
• Provide coaching and development support to junior team members

Key requirements

• Senior manager with UK corporate tax experience
• Experience in coordinating business tax advisory projects and transactions (restructuring, due diligence, tax structuring)
• Solid UK corporate tax compliance background; international tax experience preferred
• Up-to-date knowledge of BEPS, CBCR, and related changes
• Proven track record in business development with existing clients and new targets
• Experience in managing and coaching others
• Strong project management skills with ability to deliver financial metrics
