Retail Stockroom Assistant

Based: Castle Court store
Hours: Candidates must be flexible 40 hours Monday to Sunday
Main Purpose of Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stockroom Assistant to help manage our inventory and ensure the smooth operation of the stockroom. This role involves receiving and processing new shipments, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean and orderly stockroom environment.
Key Tasks
Assist with all deliveries, ensure all are accurately checked and booked on stock sales system
Process stock deliveries and provide products in excellent condition to the shop floor
Manage timely replenishment of stock
Maintain stock database, including stocktakes
Ensure stockroom is maintained to a high standard.
Assist the team with floor moves promotions and product launches
Restock the sales floor as needed, ensuring products are readily available for customers.
Keep accurate records of inventory, noting any discrepancies, Stock received products, inventory control, maintain stockroom and relocate inventory
Maintain and manage stockroom tools and equipment
Work closely with other team members, particularly the retail staff, to ensure a cohesive store operation.
Keep up to date with sales materials and current product knowledge.
Ensure strong professional working relationships are maintained with all colleagues.
Ensuring that absenteeism and lateness is kept to a minimum.
Always maintain and adhere to the company quality standards set.
Responsible for ensuring all health and safety regulations are always adhered to.
Any other reasonable duty requested by Management.
Person Specification
The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate that they can meet the following essential requirements. An ability to meet the desirable requirements will also be advantageous.
Essential Requirements
1 years experience in retail sales/Stockroom is essential
An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Proficiency in English
Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to deliver an exceptional standard of customer service
Strong IT Skills using various software packages
Must be available to work, days and weekends
