We are looking for a reliable, hard working ad versatile Stores, Logistics & General Operative to join our team within our busy fire and security business.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being kept busy and is happy to take on a range of responsibilities across our stores, vehicles, engineers and office operations.
The Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
– Managing and maintaining company storeroom
– Receiving, checking and organising deliveries
– Preparing parts and equipment for engineers
– Collecting and delivering parts and equipment to engineers and suppliers
– Driving company vans as required
– Taking company vehicles for MOTs, servicing, repairs and inspections
– Loading and unloading materials
– General stock control and keeping the stores organised
– General labouring and manual handing duties
– Keeping the yard, stores and surrounding areas clean and tidy
– Supporting engineers and other members of the team as required
The Ideal Candidate
– Reliable, punctual and hard working
– Organised with good attention to detail
– Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
– Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work
– Confident and responsible driver
– Flexible and willing to get involved in a variety of tasks
– Able to use their own initiative and manage their work load
A full UK driving license is essential as the role involves driving company vehicles and carrying out collections and deliveries.
