Front End Developer – Options Trading Team (US Trading Hours)

Overview

As Front End Developer for Millennium’s options trading team, you will build high-performance dashboards and tools in React and TypeScript to support quants and traders. You will own UX standards and translate complex workflows into intuitive interfaces, focusing on fast, data-rich visualisations. You’ll harmonise internal tools into a cohesive UI ecosystem, reducing friction for end users. This role offers the chance to shape trading tooling in a dynamic, data-driven environment while working across cross-functional partners in London, aligned with US market hours.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement front-end applications (trading dashboards, risk/monitoring tools, research interfaces) using React and TypeScript
• Own end-to-end UX standards for key tools through collaboration with traders and quants
• Develop rich, interactive data visualisations and tables prioritising clarity and performance
• Harmonise and consolidate existing internal web tools into a cohesive, maintainable UI ecosystem

Key requirements

• React and TypeScript proficiency with component-based architecture and modern tooling
• UI/UX design ability for clean, intuitive interfaces and workflows
• Experience building data-heavy UIs with advanced grids/charts (AG Grid, AM5 Charts)
• Strong HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and browser performance fundamentals
• Ability to work independently, gather requirements, and own features from concept to iteration
