Surveyor or Senior Surveyor – Residential Value and Risk Advisory

Overview

In this role you will conduct site inspections and produce valuation reports for residential properties, adhering to RICS Red Book standards. You will manage a varied caseload and provide market insights while building strong client relationships. You will contribute to quality assurance and mentorship within the team, ensuring regulatory and internal standards are met. This is a client‑facing, impact‑driven opportunity within JLL’s residential valuation practice in Greater Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and prepare valuation reports per RICS Red Book standards
• Handle a varied caseload of residential properties (houses, flats, new builds, portfolio valuations)
• Provide market analysis and commentary on local property trends and risk factors
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to quality assurance processes
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements, internal quality standards, and turnaround times

Key requirements

• MRICS qualified with proven residential valuation experience or similar residential sector work
• Excellent report writing skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within designated patch
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Desirable: Registered Valuer status
• Desirable: Argus Developer or other appraisal software
