In this Fire Engineer role you will support and lead fire safety design efforts within an interdisciplinary team. You will influence design decisions, manage client expectations, and ensure the delivery of compliant fire protection solutions. You’ll perform fire engineering calculations and smoke/evacuation analyses while supporting project financials and team collaboration. Responsibilities

• Project manage fire engineering projects
• Inform and support building design aspirations and architectural form
• Engage in client care and general consultancy on projects
• Oversee financial performance of projects including invoicing and monitoring
• Represent Fire Engineering at design team meetings
• Identify and specify fixed fire protection systems to support design solutions
• Carry out and review fire engineering calculations including smoke modelling and evacuation analysis

Key requirements

• Higher education qualification in engineering or a fire safety related subject
• Demonstrable professional experience delivering fire and life safety designs for UK projects
• Track record of gaining agreement for prescriptive and performance-based design solutions
